2019 Bethel Health Fair: Make the Connection—Health and Wellness
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

The Health Cabinet adopted the theme of “connection” for 2019 as we developed our yearly plan. You may be asking, “What does connection have to do with health?” Our health is not just about physical well-being. Health also is affected by our work life, emotions, nutrition, support systems, finances, and faith. Consider how all of these areas connect to one another to influence our health and wellness. This year at Bethel we are also connecting with our past as we celebrate our 150th Anniversary. And, most importantly, our connection with the Lord has an impact on all aspects of our lives, including health and wellness.
Bethel’s Health Fair, Make the Connection—Health and Wellness, will take place on Sunday, October 13 from 8:30 – 12 noon in Bethel Hall. You will be able to meet with experts providing information about health, wellness, and the wealth of community resources available in the Rochester area. There will be something for everyone! Our exhibitors will share information with the goal of providing practical information so you can make positive behavior changes. What can you expect to see there? Exercises for adults and children, Augsburg students checking blood pressures, fall prevention information, suicide prevention, and mental health materials, information about distracted driving, estate planning resources and more!
We will serve light, healthy refreshments and there will be samples of foods that may be new to you. By attending and visiting the various booths, you will have a chance to win some fantastic door prizes provided by our exhibitors.
Mark your calendars to make your connection with health and wellness at Bethel’s Health Fair on Sunday, October 13, 2019. We hope to see you there!
