Call Committee Information Meetings

Bethel congregation,

In April, a call committee was formed to seek out another associate pastor to serve Bethel. We, as your call committee, would like to take the time to describe to the congregation the steps that are taken in leading to calling a pastor. Information can be found on our Call Committee web page; however, we feel it is most important to have open discussion and communication with the members of the congregation who would like to engage with us personally.

During our upcoming open meetings, we will introduce members of the call committee, discuss what happens during a call process, introduce the updated pastoral team job descriptions, and ask those in attendance several questions to ensure we understand opinions of the congregation regarding what is important to Bethel’s future. If you are unable to attend any of the following dates in person, you can join via zoom using the information below. You may also fill out a short questionnaire online (bit.ly/feedbackforcallcommittee) or printed (download the form at bit.ly/printcallcommitteequestionnaire) and return it to the church office. As always, please keep the call committee in your prayers as we move forward in the coming months.

• Monday, May 22 at 6 pm
• Tuesday, May 23 at 11 am
• Sunday, May 28 at 11:30 am
• Wednesday, May 31 at 7 pm
• Sunday June 4 at 11:30 am
