What is the Rochester Mission Trip?
A Way to Serve Others!
The Rochester Mission Trip is a great opportunity for Bethel members to participate in service work right here in our community. It is mission work without having to travel far from home.
We welcome all ages to participate. We will be doing some of the favorite projects from the past, including making fleece blankets, hygiene kits, and cookies. The projects will be completed at Bethel and then delivered to the various organizations.
This year, Channel One, Salvation Army, and Bundles of Love will be the only organizations where we will volunteer at their site. Volunteers must be at least 13 years of age to volunteer at Channel One.
Lunch will be served at Bethel for volunteers on both days.
Prayerfully consider joining in this year’s Rochester Mission Trip!
Do I need to register?
Yes, you will need to register for our Rochester Mission Trip. Worksites in the community do have a limit on the number of volunteers they can take, so please register as soon as possible.
Please note that sign-ups are on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can sign up for one session or multiple sessions. Please register by August 4th.
Our community partners count on us to provide the volunteers and we make a commitment to them the week before. If for any reason you are not able to attend your session you will need to inform the church office, Melissa Lamb, or Shari Engel. (Contact information is at the bottom of this page.)
